Rising property insurance costs continue to challenge housing affordability across Florida. Join the Florida Housing Coalition and Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council on Friday, November 6, 2026, for a free interactive workshop focused on strengthening residential roof replacement programs, improving wind mitigation practices, and helping homeowners access potential insurance savings.
Designed for local governments, SHIP administrators, nonprofit housing organizations, and housing professionals, this hands-on workshop will provide practical strategies and ready-to-use resources to incorporate updated wind mitigation standards into rehabilitation and affordable housing construction programs.
