3D Flythrough
This project brings downtown Clearwater’s waterfront redevelopment to life through a cinematic flythrough video and three augmented reality (AR) experiences. Produced by the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC), in partnership with Clearwater Economic Development, the work lets residents, businesses, and visitors see what’s coming Downtown Clearwater while construction is still underway.
The video places detailed 3D models of three projects under construction (the Ballad Hotel, 150 S. Osceola Ave., and the Osceola Avenue Parking Garage) into a photorealistic, georeferenced model of the city built in Unreal Engine. Every building sits at its true location and scale, so viewers can see how each project fits into the skyline, the street grid, and the redesigned Coachman Park.
