2027 Regional Resiliency Summit

We are honored to invite you to the 7th Regional Resiliency Summit, hosted by the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council and its Regional Resiliency Coalition. This important event will take place on May 6 & 7, 2027 at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel. And once again, the 33rd Annual Future of the Region Awards will be the highlight of the Resiliency Summit luncheon on May 7, 2027.

The 2027 Summit theme, “Implementation: From Goals to Action,” focuses on moving beyond planning and policy development to the real-world application of resilience initiatives. As communities continue to face increasing environmental, economic, and infrastructure challenges, this year’s discussions will highlight proven approaches, innovative projects, and lessons learned from implementation efforts already underway.

Attendees will explore critical topics including resilient construction and redevelopment standards, energy adaptation, transportation resilience, strategic communication and public engagement, economic development, and redevelopment as a tool for adaptation. Sessions will examine how communities, agencies, and private-sector partners are translating resilience goals into measurable outcomes through policy innovation, infrastructure investments, public-private partnerships, and community-focused solutions.

The conference will feature engaging keynote speakers, informative panel discussions, technical presentations, and interactive conversations focused on overcoming barriers to implementation and accelerating resilient growth throughout the Tampa Bay region. Participants will also have multiple opportunities to network with fellow practitioners, decision makers, sponsors, and community leaders who are working to create a stronger, more adaptable future.

Join us as we move from vision to execution and explore how collaborative action can turn resilience goals into lasting results for our communities and region!
