The Pasco County Office of Strategy and Sustainability (OSS) in collaboration with the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC), invites you to a Recovery Listening Session with state and federal partners. This session’s goal is to hear about the damage caused by flooding and extreme weather, the physical and economic recovery process, and known vulnerabilities in the county and its municipalities.
The OSS and the TBRPC will use this information and project ideas to connect participants to funding opportunities that support long-term economic recovery planning, project implementation, economic diversification, and resiliency. With that in mind, this session will provide resources to:
- Identify federal and state funding for disaster recovery and mitigation activities,
- Connect stakeholders to relevant federal and state programs, and local contacts,
- Discuss creative, concrete examples of how these resources can aid your community in economic recovery, and
- Establish working relationships for advancing long-term economic recovery and resiliency.
NOTE: Please prepare to discuss damages and projects to increase resiliency in your community and local government. Complete the Hurricane Idalia Economic Recovery & Resilient Project Sheet in advance to facilitate productive discussions. Print a copy or email completed project sheets to the Tampa Bay Region’s Disaster Recovery Team (sarah@tbrpc.org). Feel free to attend in person or send your representative to this information session.
This will be a hybrid meeting.
