Tampa Bay Regional Resiliency Action Plan Receives the NARC 2023 Achievement Award

The Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC) received a National Association of Regional Councils’ (NARC) 2023 Achievement Award in recognition of its Regional Resiliency Action Plan (RRAP) during NARC’s 2023 Achievement and Leadership Awards last June. NARC’s Achievement Awards are presented each year to several organizations to recognize excellence in programs and services of regional councils and metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) across the country.

The award-winning RRAP was created by the TBRPC in coordination with local governments and stakeholders. This plan aligns with federal agency resiliency goals and internationally accepted best practices and includes 11 high-level goals with dozens of objectives and recommended actions for local implementation and regional collaboration.
