TBRPC Partners With USF for the Tampa Bay Resilience Design Challenge 2026

The TBRPC is partnering with the Hospitality & Tourism Student Club of USF School of Hospitality & Sport Management and the University of South Florida Muma College of Business for a resilience design challenge

The design challenge will turn student ideas into a blueprint for resiliency gaps. Potential outcomes could include:

  • Infrastructure ideas designed by engineering students
  • Flood-adaptive housing designed by architecture students
  • Economic impacts of climate adaptation modeled by business students
  • Risk patterns and vulnerability mapped by GIS students
  • Governance frameworks drafted by policy students
