On January 30th, TBRPC hosted resilience and emergency management practitioners at the Roadmap to Adaptation Workshop.
The purpose of this workshop was to facilitate the process of moving from completed vulnerability assessments to adaptation planning. The Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council invites City and County staff interested in applying for Resilient Florida funding to complete an adaptation plan in the upcoming cycle. Participants included planners, grant administrators, public works staff, parks and recreation staff, and floodplain managers.
The workshop agenda included a presentation from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection on the updated Adaptation Planning Guidebook, an overview of the STAPLEE method for prioritizing adaptation projects, and a practice session.
Mark your calendars for the second training in this series on June 10, 2026!
