Activities

Tampa Bay Prepares

Recent hurricanes, flooding, tornadoes, and the tragic events of September 11th have emphasized the need for everyone – families, businesses, agencies and institutions – to be prepared for emergencies.

Since 1978, TBRPC has facilitated a regional “whole community” approach to emergency management communication. TBRPC provides technical data and services, conducts research, and provides forums for regional coordination and cooperation that enhance local emergency management staff capacity within topics including hazardous materials spills, disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery, business continuity planning, and hazard mitigation.
