The TBRPC, on behalf of Hernando County, applied for and received funding from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection under their Resilient Florida Grant Program to conduct a Vulnerability Assessment to assess rising sea levels, high tides, and extreme rainfall events, and their impact on critical and regionally significant assets throughout the County. This assessment furthers the County’s commitment to becoming more resilient to the impacts from flooding.
This report, the Hernando County and City of Brooksville Vulnerability Assessment, documents each of the tasks, methodologies, and outcomes of the vulnerability assessment as pursuant to the requirements of F.S. 380.93.
