Once again, the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council has received two National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) Impact Awards at the 2022 annual conference recently held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. TBRPC Executive Director Sean T. Sullivan attended the conference to accept the two Impact Awards for the Resilient Ready Tampa Bay Project and the Pasco County Industrial Land-use Study. “The Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council is honored to receive national recognition by NADO”, stated Sullivan. “We continue to strive to be an example of best practices in planning which can be shared with others across the nation who may face the same types of challenges that we have in the Tampa Bay region.”
The National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) is a 501c4 membership association that represents the interests of regional community and economic development practitioners. Established in 1967, NADO advocates for federal policies and programs that promote equitable community development, economic competitiveness, rural development, economic mobility, and quality of place. NADO represents a national network of more than 500 Regional Development Organizations (RDOs) across the country.
